  I am a safety director on a large construction site in social circle, we had the unfortunate experience of some petty theft last night, about 1,200 dollars of miscellaneous tools and equipment were stolen last night. One hates to bother the sheriff with a small matter as this but our company rules are that any theft be called in and a report made. I cannot say enough about the 2 deputies who responded to the call I was required to make. Deputy Cobb arrived first and assured me that it was his job to do the best for us.His thoughtful and through look at what had happened actually made it clear we had lost a bit more than we first thought,he felt it rose to the level required for an investigator to be assigned and deputy Ervin was brought out to the site. I was pleasantly surprised to get real police work and not the usual (for me) "this is small stuff I will make a report" . I have actual high hopes that we may find out who did this, I have only met these 2 deputies but can know for sure that this is how this whole department is run, I am proud to have met such fine deputes and though I live in another state right now this experience makes my thoughts of moving to Covingtion even more solid,I would be proud to be a citizen of a county with such fine men in blue!! THANK YOU BOTH DEPUTIES! you do this community proud!
